A Whale of a Time

While I was in Champaign last week I visited Goodwill (surprise, surprise!) with my business partner from Fox and Hound Photo.  I found this floral scarf in a miscellaneous bin, and decided it was time for me to try out a headscarf with my short hair.  I'm still not sure if it was successful or not, but I'll leave that up to you in the comments section.  I think it's cute from the front angle, but the logistics of how my hair interacts with it in the back are still a mystery to me.

Other than that, this post is mostly a product of my hermit-ness, and a desire to stay indoors for the day.  Some days its good to just stay home and do some organizing (Is that the hermit in me talking?).

The Outfit and About it:

Forever 21 dress. While this dress is pretty basic, it boasts the quality of having a simple elegance to it.  It can be easily layered, or worn as is.

Forever 21 necklace.

Goodwill scarf. yay, miscellaneous bin goodwill finds!

Urban Outfitters Whale Painting.  I always love the art that they have at Urban.  I got this for Drew a few years back as a birthday present.  Can we also talk about how much I love the simple elegance of the way he has styled his room?  A hundred times, yes.
