Why I Love the Stylebook App

Hello friends!

Today I'm here to tell you all about one of my favorite mobile apps, Stylebook.

It's available on iPad and other mobile platforms, and I've been using it for years now.

If you've ever seen the movie Clueless, you'll know that the main character Cher had an enviable thing — a digital closet where she could pair together her clothes to make up outfits.  She was able to do all of it without rummaging around in her closet, pulling things out, digging through piles, etc.

How nice, right?

Well there's an app for that now.  And to be honest there has been for a little while now.

That app is Stylebook.

Using this app makes it super easy to plan out outfits and organize your wardrobe digitally.

Whenever I want to plan outfits, purge my closet, pack for a trip, or decide what to put into a seasonal wardrobe vs. storage, Stylebook makes it all easier!

The app is $3.99, and it's the only app I've ever paid to have on any of my devices, but I really do think it has been well worth those four dollars.

I've been using it for over four years and it has been so handy to have around.

If you're starting out with the app, it will take one good sorting through of your closet to get set up and organized.  After that, it's just maintaining it up to date.

You can use the app to take pictures of each item in your wardrobe against a white background with your device, and then the app helps you edit out the background.

Then, voila!

You've got your wardrobe at your finger tips, and you can use the app to plan outfits, see how pieces look together, and make a list of everything you'd want to pack for a vacation.

Then I'll also use the app whenever I'm looking to clean out things I'm not wearing, or update it if I get something new.  And if I'm buying something new online, it's very easy to just save the photo from my purchase and use that for the app!

Plus, you can do this with potential purchases as well.

Say you're thinking of purchasing something, you can put it into the app and try pairing it with things to see if it will go with things you already own.

This app is definitely one of my faves and gets used very often, so I wanted to be sure to share it with you lovelies!

Until Next Time,
