Antique Taco: a Discovery in Deliciousness

So, as I've posted a few things about this week, my business partner Crissy and I (yay Fox & Hound Photo!) visited the Renegade Craft Fair in Wicker Park on Saturday.  The day got off
to somewhat of a rough start.

We drove around the Wicker Park area for something like 40 minutes trying to find a place to park (If anyone knows of a decent parking garage in that area, we're all ears!), and eventually ended up parking over the river and past Goose Island.  From there we walked the 15, 20?, 25? blocks back to Division street, and at some point ended up wandering up Milwaukee Ave. (and blindly heading north away from where we were actually trying to go...).   It was here that we stumbled upon Antique Taco.

I had previously discovered this place on the interwebs a few months back, and we were planning on eating there at the craft fair anyways, but here it was before us in all its brick-and-mortar awesomeness!  So we went in and ordered us some Pork Carnitas Tacos, Fish Tempura Tacos, and an awesome looking Chicken Empanada.   It was all amazing.  And instead of have me rattle on about it, I'm just going to get to the pictures so you can all be a little hungrier.  And yes, the taste of the food was just as good as the presentation and surroundings are adorable.

Seriously, we loved it so much we went back for dinner.  So if you're visiting the city, or if you live there and somehow haven't found this gem yet, you should go give it a try.  Just look how happy Crissy looks!  She's clearly having a ball.

Stay lovely, all! Lovely, and filled with Antique Tacos.
