Plaid and Collar Clips

Today's outfit post was inspired by these awesome collar clips that I ordered off of the Sheinside.com.  As always, I am drawn to some of the quirkier pieces floating out there in the world of fashion, and this one certainly fits the bill.  Not only is it an interesting type of jewelry in being a set of collar clips, but the detailing of it being two hands is especially unique.  I have been looking for an interesting set of collar clips to purchase for quite a while.  While I suppose they serve no true function, they are a fantastic break from wearing a necklace, and they highlight the collared silhouette of your shirt or dress.    Also let's give a hoot for how whimsical they are — they definitely help bring this outfit into the quirky territory.

The Outfit and About it:

Forever 21 heart pants. I love these pants.  I found them on clearance this past winter for about $11, and I wear them all the time.  I am drawn to skinny pants in general, and they fact that they are black makes them quite versatile for outfit styling.

Meijer plaid shirt.  love love love this. This plaid shirt is super comfortable, came in multiple colors, and were fairly cheap ($18).  I was kind of surprised I found such a good find at a grocery store, but they caught my eye and I have not once regretted the purchase.

H & M vest.  I dig the whole panic at the disco/ steampunk style and I feel like this vest is a key piece in my wardrobe that lets that style come through in my wardrobe a little bit.  Definitely a fave.

The Sheinside collar clips.  Adorable and unique.  What's not to love??? :)
