Our pnw adventure was finished off with a three day stay in Portland, OR exploring the city and the Columbia River Gorge.
While in the Gorge, we got to see two beautiful waterfalls, despite the massive damage from the 2017 fire. We were so fortunate to see the beautiful Multnomah Falls and Waukeena Falls. I do hope that one day we are able to venture back into the depths of the Gorge again, and see Wahclella once more.

I just love all of the colorful explosions of florals and art scattered across Portland. It all just feels so fitting to me.
Some great breakfasts abounded in Portland. We had a great array of food at Cafe Broder (above), a cute little swedish breakfast spot! And then on Drew's birthday we had some yummy donuts at Blue Star Donuts (below)!

And finally, a delicious birthday dinner at Raven and Rose was the perfect ending to a great trip! |
