I've wanted to photograph out at these cool blue blobs for quite some time (this set of sculptures is actually called Connectors by Micki LeMieux), but the lighting has never been to my liking. Back in the winter there was no foliage to diffuse the sun, and we hardly went out on overcast days. This time a tall, welcoming tree helped us out and my cream bunny sweater was not lost to be engulfed by the sun's blinding rays. Speaking of, weird sweater, huh? I love it. This off-kilter rabbit seems to fit right in with the fun blue blobs.
It's getting warmer, so the time for sweaters —even light ones — may be fading fast. It's incredible how different this park feels now that the foliage is in full swing. It's a totally different animal, and that's one of the amazing things about nature; it's always changing.
The Outfit and About it:
Forever 21 bunny sweater. This was yet another gem found in the sale section. I'm not sure how many people would squeal with joy upon finding a strange looking rabbit sweater in mid-May, but that pretty much describes my encounter with it in the store. I love it in all of its' strangeness.
Forever 21 shorts. I bought these forever ago. Seriously I can't even remember when I bought these. Three years ago maybe? They are my go - to black shorts. I love that they have the interesting button detail, and they are of comfortable length.
Forever 21 peter pan collar necklace. For a while I had put this necklace out of commission. I was all excited about having a collar necklace, and then I realized that I kept buying shirts and dresses with interesting collars. Kind of difficult to wear a collar necklace when all your shirts already have fun collars. I came upon it recently in my jewelry box and was overjoyed! I actually have things with plain collars now!
Ruche handbag. Love this bag. I got it last year for my portfolio review because I needed something big enough and professional enough to house my portfolio book. It just fit, and makes for a very professional but stylish look.
Forever 21 ring and Earrings. I've been into these moon earrings lately because they feel very celestial and airy, much like the clouded blue hue of the stone on the ring.
