2019 Year in Review

This year has been A YEAR.

It has been a mixture of some of the best moments of my life as well as some of the hardest days I've experienced.

So much has happened this year.

It has been a colorful year, a creative year.   A year of joy, and a year of immeasurable heartache.   I've found a home and strengthened connections with so many people in my life, and I'm thankful for all of them.

This year I watched my business and blog grow, I learned to put a little less pressure on myself and just accept life as it comes instead of pushing myself past my limits.

I started a new job that I love, with co-workers I enjoy being around and working with.

I joined a new family (even though I feel as though they've been family to me for many years, now it's official!), and grew closer to the family I've had all my life.

I lost someone who was a very big part of my heart, and it is a heartache that I feel daily.

I married the love of my life, and we embarked on a whirlwind wedventure that I will never forget.

And I feel that I have had possibly the strongest creative year of my life, and I certainly feel the most centered and the most confident in my abilities that I have ever felt in my adult life.  It's honestly remarkable how different I feel creatively in comparison to a few years back.   I really feel that I am building toward something amazing.

So let's embark on the visual recap!

Winter

Winter was full of some fun fashion styling in the snow, as well as starting some interior projects in our home.  One of my most productive winters in a long time!

Spring

During the spring a lot of my focus was drawn toward finalizing our wedding plans, as well as going through some hard personal times.  So most of my content was travel related from our trip to Seattle and Portland.  But I also managed to fit in a little bit of interior styling, baking, and a fun piece on capsule wardrobes!

Summer

It's really incredible just how much content I was able to pull together for this reflection for summer since I took like a 3 month break from posting in the middle of the year.  Things just got SO hectic leading up to the destination wedding and I could barley keep up with all the details surrounding that, nevermind doing all of the work of shooting/editing for the blog.  You would think I would have barely anything to share for summer.  But honestly, I think after we got back I was filled with this insane wave of creative passion, and I just needed to make it all happen, as it were.

Summer was filled with love.  Andrew and I got married, and it was incredible.

I was able to shoot some outfit posts, and at the end of the summer we traveled to Tuscon to see his best man get married and got to explore the desert.

Fall

Again, I felt that this fall has been one of the most creative falls for me to date.   Last year's was really great with our visit to Mt. Rainier, but this season I found some real creativity in the things surrounding me here at home.  I just feel so full of wonder and want to keep creating like never before.

So here's to 2019, and may 2020 be just as wonderful if not even just a little bit more!

Until Next Time,

— The Lovely Red Fox
