Crop tops seem to be all the rage this summer — from floral to tribal to your standard plain cap-sleeved, they come in all shapes and colors. At the beginning of spring I was a little skeptical of them, but then I came across this floral crop with lace trim, and my uncertainty was immediately dissuaded.
The subsequent issue that arises with crop tops is finding the right bottom to pair them with. I'm not a huge fan of my midriff area, so finding the right bottom is somewhat limited. I've found that using high-waisted shorts or pinning a skirt (as I've done here) works best.

Forever 21 black pleated skirt. A good standard black flared skirt.
Francesca's polka dot watch. Francesca's always has a fun assortment of watches for sale. I chose this one because I liked the fun play on polka dots, and I thought it would match a lot of things in my wardrobe.
Earthbound Trading Co. necklace. Perfect for when you forget your reading glasses and have trouble reading the menu when you're out on a date (caution this might embarrass the boyfriend!)!
