PNWonderland May 2019: Washington State

And here come the fun trip posts!

We had so much fun wrapping up some final wedding details on our pnw trip last week, and exploring more nooks and crannies in this beautiful part of America.

Come along with me and see the sights we saw!

Starbucks at the Sea-tac airport had the coolest wall art of the Public Market!

First stop: Brunch at the London Plane.  This place was excellent for open faced breakfast
sandwiches and grapefruit mimosas!

Next onto the Public Market!  Always bustling, the market is a great place to explore for first-time Seattle visitors. There are so many different vendors, and beautiful fresh fruits and veggies!  You might even catch the fish mongers throwing fish!

After the market, we wandered up to the City Center to see the Space Needle and
check out the fountain and other City Center attractions.

For dinner, we opted for this fun german bier hall in the Pioneer Square area. They had great sausage plates, and I loved my order of Käsespätzle

After our dinner we explored more of the Pioneer Square area, getting drinks at the Pharmacy and at the top of Smith Tower, the oldest skyscraper.  The top of Smith Tower has been transformed into an open observation deck to see the city,
paired with a 1920s style speakeasy.  So much fun!!

While we were in Washington, we also visited the site for our wedding and nearby accommodations.  I am still so loving these views!!

The evening topped off with an incredible meal at Alderbrook Resort.

And finally, the adorable Airbnb we stayed at during our time on the OP.
Still dreaming of this cute little cabin!

Until Next Time,
