For the Love of Merchandise: Spring Edition

Since I'm constantly Pintresting, exploring, and dreaming up new outfits and home decor ideas, I thought I'd share with you a few things I've found recently online and in stores that I'm pretty excited about.  ( Okay, okay so I found and started this in the Spring, and it's Summer now.  I still thought this post would be a good one because much of this can transition into the current season.)

1. Celestial Bracelet // Modcloth — Since I'm a huge fan of quirky jewelry, it should come as no surprise that I've been admiring this starry bangle from Modcloth.  I'm not usually one for bracelets, since I wear a watch most days, so my bracelet interests are few and far between, but this one definitely makes the cut.

2. Fruit Scarf // Francesca's — I found this the other day while on another shopping mission, and it is still hanging out in the back of my mind.  I love the fresh, bright colors for spring, even though I usually stay far away from anything even remotely neon.  This scarf could change my ways.  We will see, my friends. We will see.

3. Striped Dress // Forever 21 — I tried this on the other day, and it was adorable. I ended up opting for some other pieces I found, but this was definitely a contender.  I can image wearing it to a casual dinner party or something... maybe I need to make that happen!

4. Terrariums // Sprouts — I found this pin on Pinterest and instantly decided that an open bowl terrarium was the missing piece to the top of our coffee table in the living room.  Then a friend of mine told me about a great place in Chicago where you can go take a class making terrariums and I was sold.  I will keep you updated on this terrarium adventure in my future.

5. Geometric Wall Decor // Urban Outfitters — I'm definitely jumping on board with the modern/geometric/metallic trend that's taking our world by storm these days.  These wall hangings are awesome and would be an interesting way to hang scarves by my mirror perhaps, or just serve as wall art somewhere around the house.

6. DENY Tapestry // Urban Outfitters — I ordered this tapestry to hang on the wall behind my bed.  I love the fantastical quality with the clouds and the soft colors.  I have been pretty pro tapestry for about a year now, but finally found the perfect one.  The only drawback is that its on backorder till the end of JULY, but I am patient.

7. Whale Basket //  — Isn't this whale basket just the cutest?  We have somewhat of a whale theme going on in our apartment.  I'm not sure how exactly it started, but I found this little guy and I'm thinking he might be a great addition to the group.

8. Heels // Modcloth — THESE HEELS. I have almost no opportunities where I feel it is actually appropriate for me to wear heels, but if I were to ever need heels for an occasion, these would be the ones.  I hope Modcloth continues to make adorable heels like these.
