Mount Rainier — Forest Zone and Comet Falls

Elevation gain of 2,004 ft. and a 4 mile out and back hike.  The climb up was brutal, but the experience was so worth it.   I can't even describe to you the enormity of it all.  Being there, engulfed by the forest and this
mammoth dormant stratovolcano, and feeling so small and so full.  So much in this day and age has become about instant gratification.  It feels good to explore a place where you can't check facebook or follow your phone.  You have to rely on yourself and your ability to find your way in order to experience the amazing wonders that nature has gifted us with.  Climb with us...
