How the Leaves Fell in October...

The beach is a very peculiar place in the off season.  The occasional wave boarder floats about the lake, and crunchy leaves litter the sandy ground.  The trees are just starting to turn here, with some golden hues
popping up here and there.  This golden tree in particular is one of the first to venture into the autumn colors.

I recently saw a post by another blogger I follow where she featured a pink sweater she was incorporating into her fall wardrobe, and it reminded me of this striped chenille number I'm featuring today.  I love that somehow I hear this sweater screaming fall at me even though it isn't technically all "fall" hues.  It might be that orange stripe doing most of the screaming, but I love the way the pink colors still compliment it and make it feel like the perfect going into fall sweater.  And let's not forget to give a shout-out to my new raccoon scarf friend who's helping out with these chillier days!!
