One item that I find is scarce in my wardrobe is the summer maxi dress. Being somewhat short, sometimes it can be hard to find a great maxi dress that isn't too long. Thus, I don't have a ton of
maxi silhouettes in my closet. This one is one of a handful of them and it shares its lot of challenges. This dress is just the outer printed fabric part, which is kind of a see-through chiffon/ crepe fabric. This is so challenging, because I love this dress but I struggle to figure out what to layer under it. For this shoot, I settled for one other maxi dress that I have in my collection, a racer back black knit dress with an angled bottom hem. With these two combined I can romp through many a grassy park for a late afternoon picnic! |
