Last Friday Andrew and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary of being together as a couple. It's crazy to think that we graduated from high school a full ten years ago, and that we've been out of undergrad for five years already! It seems like the years are flying by faster and faster. We've been engaged for almost two years now, and we still have yet another year until we will finally be married already! :)
I am so excited about our lives, I feel like each day is filled with life and vibrancy, and I feel very at
peace with who I am as a person currently. It's the first time in a long time that I feel like I can breathe, and it's inspiring and invigorating.
Anyways.
I thought that our anniversary would be the perfect time to share some of my favorites from our engagement photo session with Kristen Marie Parker out at Cape Flattery in March 2017. It's a lot of fun looking back at this crazy day. We chose this crazy remote destination at the Northwestern most tip of Washington state, a mere 3-hour drive from where we were staying in Bremerton. We were super late, lost cell reception in the middle of nowhere Olympic Peninsula, it was raining, and a myriad of other things went wrong. But we met up with our amazing photographer Kristen, and I honestly was glad it didn't happen any other way than it did.
We stopped at this little place for food in Neah Bay and I had THE BEST fish and chips I have EVER had, ever. As we got to the trailhead at Cape Flattery the clouds parted and the sun came out, and it was an incredibly magical scene. Kristen made us feel super at ease, honestly I couldn't have told you when/ where she was snapping all these photos. This was a super amazing day, and it's a lot of fun to look back on through these images. These aren't all of them, but a select few I chose to make this photo story out of.
Enjoy!

Until next time,
Definitely a beautiful story! Hoping to see this place next summer! Aunt Lynn
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Congrats on 10 years!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are very beautiful and the background locations are also amazing. The love between the two of you is reflected well in the photos. I and my boyfriend have also decided to finally tie the knot after being together for 8 years. We are planning for the wedding to be at one of the best Chicago venues.
